Ok, just got a message from Andy. He is doing well. Sounds like a men's retreat, lol.
I sent him both of your email addresses. He will have to add them to his contact list.
Then you will get an email from the system that handles their messaging system.
You will make a password and you are able to get started in like 24 hours or so.
Good news is he might be able to get out and into a halfway house in Seattle by May of next year!!

I just read in USA Today that so far 2010 is the warmest year on record, as measured from January through April. This is being reported by both NASA and the National Climatic Data Center. It's being blamed on a combination of global warming and a strong El Nino effect, however they are predicting this year to be the warmest on record. Of course, I wonder if that volcano eruption in Iceland is going to effect it. If it's STILL the warmest on record at the end of the year, even with a major volcano eruption like that, then that's pretty bad. At least a lot of these "1998 was the warmest year on record" arguments might finally go away. Of course, next year could be cold, it's the trend that matters, but it's harder to argue a cooling trend over the last decade when the current year is the hottest recorded in 131 years.

i have been telling him about all the scientist saying this GW thing was based off bad science. Its pretty brutal because he only has access to sporadic info. I have sent him a few books through amazon and would encourage others to do so as well.

The real question is... what exactly is Andy DOING about global warming? or is he just bitching? I think we all know the answer to this. Call me an asshole if you want. I have known Andy for longer than any of you, and I am getting tired of his bullshit.
