Anyone with photoshop shills?
I want to paint a part of the rear lip on my car, but would like to get an idea of what it will look like before commit.
The picture of the white car is not mine (mine is the silver one). If you look closely at the rear lip, the middle inderneath is painted black. I have the exact same lip on my car and would like to do the same thing, but want to see it on my car first. I have a carbon fiber hood and think a little bit of black in the back would set it off nicely.
If anyone has photoshop skills and can make it look right, I would love the help.
reference car...
My car...

Pffft.... You don't need photoshop. Paint works just fine!

I'd normally be all over this, but Dave's been waiting for a month for me to do some photoshop stuff for him.
Sorry 'bout that, Dave. Nothing's more frustrating to me than trying to PS using a laptop touch pad. You may want to look for an alternative.... Once we get moved to a new place I'm gonna get a digitizer pad, then things will be all good on the PS front again...

I thought I remembered that you were the expert on PS. I'm not planning on doing this any time too soon. Probably in a month or two, after I get my tax returns. So if you get a chance and don't mind taking the time to work on it, that would be awesome.

Nicely done Josh. I like the first one a lot. Exactly what I was looking for. Thanks!

Nice work josh. Looks like you used the same technique that I would have. Lasso polygon select, then decrease the brightness. :-)
