Ok,, so I got the jacket and gloves from first gear and wired up both bikes with controllers. It is a bit pricey but sooooo worth the money!!!!! I have gotton so tired of riding in the freezing cold. these have a controller that makes it easy to adjust or even roll off to just leave neutral temperature. the jacket is thin and comfortable, you can wear it under any jacket, the goves are just like regular sportbike gloves with knuckle armor and not big and bulky and clumsy. anyway,,,, my only complaint at the moment is the knuckle needs a little extra padding because i can feel the corner of the knuckle armor slightly. am gonna figure out how to add a little padding. anyway,, thought i'd pass it along.

Nope but am going out for a ride in a few. I have ridden a few times with the gear now. The coldest was about 33 degrees. My jacket breathes alot and on the r1 I get lots of wind. I will say,, I wasn't toasty warm but I didn't get cold at all. I don't think I will be making a habit of riding in that cold of weather so I think I am good to go now. 40 and up it is toasty warm.

On the harley there is enough wind protection that I have to keep it on low.
